Warmth and humility met us in Trujillo. Pastor George & Adriana treated us to several fun meals and Liana constantly translated for us English speakers. We were able to learn about the Moche people's history, the church of Trujillo's history and how God is extending the church's reach in the area. A highlight was visiting Chicamita, a little village where Neana (member of the church) lives and opens part of her home as a Saturday children's program for over 30 children. Liana and Claudia facilitate the program and the children danced and sang on our Wednesday visit, pretending it was Saturday. We were even able to play a quick game of futbol with some of the boys.
Ruth was quickly adopted by Lucia for our tour of Trujillo.

We had sea food at the sea near Trujillo, Perry displays a medley of deep fried sea critters.

Tim looks on and Perry takes pictures as Pastor George gives us a tour of his printing shop.

Liana not only loves children, Neana's Parrot recognizes her compassionate Spirit.
