Healthy Disciples - Missional Leaders

First days of anything are awkward.
Remember the first day of...
   school
   camp
   work

Or your first class presentation, first date, first time throwing a disc (Frisbee)...

Well, on July 2, eleven new ACTION team leaders met for the first time for a few days of "leaders' orientation".

AWKWARD

...for a few minutes. Then, presto! They were like old friends, laughing, talking, praying together and getting ready to lead.

July 4th their teams arrived to meet one another for the first time for ACTION Orientation.

AWKWARD

   ...for a few minutes.

July 12-13, Six teams that started as strangers have left for their summer ministries as good friends and teammates!

ACTION 2013 participants inviting you to pray for them and follow their blogs!
Please follow their adventures of partnering with MB Mission workers and ICOMB partners (International Community of Mennonite Brethren) in Brazil, Eastern Asia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, and Philippines.

Here are their Blog and or FB pages:

Brazil: Brazil 2013
Japan: Japaneers
Mexico: Adventures in Mexico 2013
Panama: Panama (FGCC team Saskatoon)
Philippines:  Philippines 2013; Cullen Klassen's (leader) personal blog = Melodic Spelunking

For news concerning the Eastern Asia team, please email me or Carol directly at lloydl@mbmission.org or caroll@mbmission.org. Sorry for this inconvenience. Keeping our workers safe is a priority.

This week these teams meet new team members in the countries they are visiting. So a few more awkward moments await them. However, God's call is to build relationship and partner with sharing the gospel of Jesus in word and deed. May they encourage others, be encouraged and join in God's movement of calling everyone and all creation back into relationship with himself!
